Terms of Service for The Organization of Certified Professional Detailers

By registering to join The Organization of Certified Professional Detailers (hereafter referred to as “CPD”), you agree to adhere to the following terms and conditions:

1. Professional Conduct

You commit to conducting yourself and your business in a professional and respectful manner. This includes maintaining positive communication with customers, peers, vendors, and all members of the detailing community. Any form of misconduct, including but not limited to racist, sexist, discriminatory, unkind, belittling, or abusive behavior, will result in the immediate termination of your membership without a refund of any fees paid.

2. Disclaimer of Liability

You acknowledge that CPD provides information, tips, and educational resources intended to support your professional development. However, CPD makes no guarantees regarding your success, sales, or any other personal or business outcomes. You recognize that inherent risks exist in any business endeavor, and you agree to hold CPD harmless for any losses or damages incurred, whether personal or professional.

3. Membership Access and Intellectual Property

You agree to safeguard your membership credentials and not share access to CPD content, resources, or website materials with anyone who is not a registered member. Sharing this information will lead to the immediate revocation of your membership without a refund and may result in legal action for theft of intellectual property.

4. Membership Fees and Automatic Renewal

Membership dues are billed annually and will be automatically charged to your payment method unless you log into your account and cancel your membership prior to the renewal date. If payment is not received, your access to CPD resources and benefits will terminate immediately.

5. Amendments

CPD reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Members will be notified of significant changes, and continued membership constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
